April 27th- AMERICAN MUSCLE CAR SHOW – QUASSY AMUSEMENT PARK.  The show is sponsored by Quassy Amusement Park and the Connecticut Military Corvette Club and will benefit disadvantaged Connecticut veterans. The show opens at 10:00 AM with registration commencing at 8:00 AM. The show is open to all classic and sport cars with Best of Show trophies awarded to the top three cars, based on drivers choice judging. Rain date for the show is Sunday April 29th.  Quassy is located at 2132 Middlebury Road, Middlebury, CT.

May 5th- Summer Knights Car Show at The Berlin Fairgrounds.
Time: 9-3:00   Location: 410 Beckley Rd, Berlin, CT.  Rain date: May 12th

May 11th – Beardsley’s Cider Mill 9th Annual Model A and Model T Era Only Car and Swap Meet, Shelton, Connecticut.  278 Leavenworth Road (Route 110) Shelton, CT 06484.  This meet is for cars, parts and related items from 1931 and older only.  Everything is free, including parts vendors, entrance, ample parking, etc.  No need to reserve vendor space or register, just show up and set up.  We will have breakfast and lunch food available for purchase from a local food truck.  Any make cars and trucks are encouraged to come as long as they are from 1931 or older.  The general public are also welcome to come and enjoy the day.  Lets hope for a beautiful day – there is no rain date.  For any questions, please contact Dan Beardsley at 203-712-7732.

MAY 18th-  2019 Klingberg Vintage Motorcar Series at the Klingberg campus, 370 Linwood Street, New Britain, CT 06052 https://klingbergmotorcarseries.org/ Join us for the 2019 Klingberg Vintage Motorcar Series! Featuring Grand Marshal Wayne Carini and his family. Each show is a beautiful display of antique automobiles through 1979. As our spectators have come to expect, you will find rare vintage vehicles you have never seen before. These are family-friendly events with food, music, and fun for everyone… (The list of 2019 event dates are as follow): May 18, 2019 (9:00am – noon)… June 15, 2019 (9:00am – 2:00pm; including Pre-War Concours d’Elegance)… Sept. 21, 2019 (9:00am – noon)… All proceeds benefit Klingberg Family Centers (https://klingberg.org/), a private nonprofit providing help to thousands of children and families throughout Connecticut each year whose lives have been traumatized by abuse and/or neglect in its various forms and severe family problems.

In celebration of the American Legions 100th Anniversary, Plymouth Post 20 is hosting a car show. On top of the usual classic cars, this show will also feature a military category. Weather permitting; we will also be expecting a guest landing from a Black Hawk helicopter piloted by Sikorsky! Come for the cars and enjoy the live band, various vendors and the food trucks! May 19th-  10th Annual Boothe Memorial Park Antique & Classic Car Show
5744 Main Street Putney, Stratford, CT 06614          9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Beautiful Park setting car show presented by the Port 5 Naval Veterans of Bridgeport, CT. Proceeds benefit many veteran and community charities such as Habitat for Heroes, Homes for the Brave, Sticks for Soldiers and Freedom Guide Dogs. Dash Plaques – Goodie Bags – Food – Music – 100 Trophies – Judged Show! SPECIAL AWARDS may include Best of Show, Car Owner’s Award, Bill Benz Award, Best Model A, Best Ford, Best Chevrolet, Best Packard, Best Foreign Car, Best Truck, Best Emergency Vehicle, Best Military Vehicle and Oldest Unmodified Vehicle. Flag Raising at Noon honors dignitaries and veterans from past wars. $10 per show vehicle – no cut-off year!  May 26th- Royals Garage Car Show at Lime Rock Park. The Royals’ Garage Sunday Car Show is in its tenth year and has become a staple of Lime Rock Park’s Memorial Day weekend festivities. A hometown show run by the Royals family and Lime Rock Park, all types of cars and car enthusiasts are welcome. Each year, the show features muscle cars, import/tuners, street rods, motorcycles, classic cars, antiques, race cars, trucks, “new & cool” and even some homemade wheeled contraptions. June 16th- 27th Annual Terryville Bug-A-Fair Car Show will be held on Father’s Day from 9-3pm. Forty Show Car Classes for both Aircooled and Watercooled VWs plus Special Choice and Best of Show Trophies. Car registration opens at 9am, judging starts at 12 noon and awards at 3pm. The show also has a huge swap meet with over 75 vendors selling used and new VW items. Food all day Sunday provided by the Terryville Lions Club. Camping Saturday night for those who want to get a jump on the festivities. All proceeds go to the Terryville Lions Club. Directions Route 6 Scott Rd then two miles to Terryville Fairgrounds. Time:  9am – 3pm

June 23rd-  The 10th Annual Ross Jenacaro Antique and Classic Car Show will be held on Sunday June 23rd (Rain date June 30th) at 4 Corporate Drive, Shelton CT. All profits will support The Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp in Union CT. As usual there will be great music, food and raffle prizes with special raffle prizes for anyone registers a vehicle at the show. We will be awarding some of the nicest trophies in the area and this year a special trophy will be awarded to the car club with the best participation. We have no cut off year and all vehicles are welcome. We urge you to go to the Connecticut Burns Care Foundation website to learn more about this great organization and the children’s camp you will be supporting by attending the show  http://ctburnsfoundation.org/

July 28th- (Changed to the 28th because of extreme heat wave temperatures.)   Tour to the Old Rhinebeck Areodrome in Red Hook, NY is scheduled. It has many examples of airworthy aircraft of the Pioneer Era, World War I and the Golden Age of Aviation between the World Wars, and multiple examples of roadworthy antique automobiles are on display.  We will be leaving from Goshen circle at 10:00 am. October 13th- 7th Annual Cars for Kids Automobile Show, the Cars for Kids Automobile Show will be held on Sunday, October 13th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Connecticut Junior Republic’s Litchfield Campus, 550 Goshen Road, Litchfield. October 26th- 2nd Annual Farmington & Avon Fire Department Car
Presented by the Farmington and Avon Fire Departments in coordination with the Connecticut Street Legends. Show car and spectator donations are appreciated. Proceeds will benefit the fire departments. Classics (domestic & foreign), Street Rods, Customs, Antiques, Old and New Muscle welcome. NO CUTOFF YEAR! Dash plaques will be given to show cars and trophies will be awarded. Oldies music will be played and food will be available onsite. No alcohol allowed at this show. Rain date October 27th.

NOVEMBER 3rd-  Connecticut Street Rod Association Presents: 28th Annual CSRA Fall Swap Meet… (http://www.csra.org/pages/events_list.php It will be held on November 3rd, 2019 in the Lake Compounce parking lot, 186 Enterprise Drive, Bristol, CT 06010. 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM, rain or shine. There is no pre-registration, all spots are first come first served basis. Plenty of spots available. No one has ever been turned away. Saturday set-ups are ok but no staying overnight. The parking lot is lit and secure… Saturday set-up is from 10am to 4:30pm. If you set up on Saturday you will get a pass to come back in on Sunday but will have to park in Spectator Parking. Sunday morning you must walk to your spot due to Insurance Regulations. You may NOT drive to your pre set-up area Sunday morning! You will be able to drive to your spot on Sunday afternoon after 2:00 PM to pick-up your stuff. Anyone who has to leave early must see a CSRA member for assistance… There are 3 Parts pick-up areas. CSRA Members will assist anyone picking up parts… Vendor spots are $40.00 each. Spots are 15’w x 22’lg (Example: truck & trailer may need 2-3 or more spots) please measure to see how spots are needed… Spectators $10.00 per person. Kids under 12 free… Cars for Sale $30.00 car & driver only + additional $30.00 for trailers. Also you may unload trailers on Saturday only!!!! April 22nd – The 49th annual Spring Swap Meet will once again be held at the Lake Compounce parking lot in Bristol CT. I 84 to exit 31, north on 229, follow the signs or use GPS 271 Enterprise Drive, Bristol, Ct. from 6:00 AM -3:00PM rain or shine… Antique, Street Rod, Hot Rod, Classic, Racing, Special Interest, Trucks, tools, Collectables, Toys, and used speed parts offered… Vendor spots $40.. (Vendor spots are 15′ X 20′ If you can’t fit entirely in this dimension, you must buy more spots)… Spectators $10 adults, Kids under 12 free. Cars for sale $30. Truck and trailer $60… We offer Saturday set up from 10AM-4:30PM, however there is no overnight stays. You will have to return on Sunday morning and park in Spectator parking, then walk to your spot. No driving cars in the swap meet area on Sunday.

May 6th – 10th Annual Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Car Show Car, No cutoff year. Classics domestic & foreign, Street Rods, Antiques, Customs, Old & New Muscle welcome. CCMC has requested that we not collect toys this year so only $10 fee will be accepted. Dash plaques will be given to the first 150 show cars. June 10th – Woodbury Lion’s Club 40th Car Show at Hollow Park, Woodbury, CT.

June 17th – 26th Annual Terryville Bug-A-Fair, at the Terryville Fairgrounds, Town Hill Road, Terryville CT from 9am to 3pm. 40 show car classes for both air cooled and water cooled VWs with over 100 awards and best of show awards. Car registration opens at 9am, judging starts at noon and awards at 3pm. The show also has a large swap meet with over 75 vendors selling new and used VW items. Food all day provided by the Terryville Lions Club. Camping is allowed overnight for $15 a vehicle. Spectator admission is $9, Show car and driver is $15, Swap Meet vending $30 per large space. June 24th –  “The 9th Annual Ross Jenacaro Antique & Classic Car Show,  to benefit The Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp is going to be held on Sunday June 24th. July 8th – The Falls Village Car & Motorcycle Show.  A really big show in a really small town. Special guest Dennis Gage. He will be filming our show for an upcoming segment of his TV show My Classic Car. Food, live music, vendors, entertainment. Huge variety of vehicles Trophies and dash plaques. August 19th – The 43rd Annual Litchfield Hills Historical Auto Club Car Show

October 10th-13th – Hershey Fall Meet. The Eastern Division AACA National Fall Meet takes place each year during the 1st full week in October. The Hershey Region began hosting the show in 1955 and has done so each year since then. The meet is located in beautiful Hershey, PA on the grounds and parking lots surrounding Hershey park and The Giant Center.

October 14th – 6th Annual Cars for Kids Automobile Show, the Cars for Kids Automobile Show will be held on Sunday, October 14th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Connecticut Junior Republic’s Litchfield Campus, 550 Goshen Road, Litchfield. (Rt.63)  The rain date for this event is Sunday, October 14th, 2018. The event opens for exhibitors at 8:00 for spectators at 10:00 AM. (Info call: (860) 567-9423, ext. 278)

October 20th – Farmington & Avon Fire Department Car Show at 11:00 am – 3:00pm  This show benefits the Farmington & Avon fire departments and is presented in conjunction with the Connecticut Street Legends. NO CUTOFF YEAR. Classics domestic & foreign, Street Rods, Antiques, Customs, Old & New Muscle welcome. Trophies will be awarded and food will be available.
